Accountancy Services

Simply Contracting offers a simple, comprehensive Limited Company service package which has been developed through our years of experience dealing with contractors to address the fundamental needs of a typical contractor. We also provide other service packages for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Liability Partnerships.

The following tasks form the typical contractor service package:

  • Notification to the Registrar of Companies of the first accounting date
  • Application to be VAT Registered
  • Application to HM Inspector of Taxes to operate a PAYE scheme
  • Preparation of the yearly P11d, P11d (b), P35, P14 & P60 relating to the PAYE scheme
  • Preparation of the quarterly PAYE/NI liabilities to be paid
  • Preparation and submission of invoices to clients on behalf of the company in accordance with your instructions
  • Preparation of interim financial statement showing liabilities and available funds
  • On receipt of your company bank statements completion of a bank reconciliation in arrears.  We advise that you provide us with your statements on a monthly basis.
  • Preparation of UK corporation tax computations and returns
  • Preparation of annual accounts ready for submission to Companies House and HMRC
  • Preparation and online submission of quarterly VAT return within 20 days of the quarter end.
  • Prepararation of new share(s) and transfer of share(s) documentation
  • Amendments to Company’s Statutory Books, ie change of officers, registered office address, share split and notification to the authorities, as appropriate
  • Preparation and filing of Company’s Annual Return

The fees for this service package are £1140.00 (+VAT) per annum, payable by direct debit monthly in arrears at £95.00 (+VAT).  Where you do not need all of the above services, Simply Contracting will tailor the package for your specific company and may be able to offer a reduced fee structure.  Details are available from the Simply Contracting office.

Additional Services

The following services are available, either directly or via an associate company, for an additional charge, invoiced as and when required:

  • Personal Tax Return completion - £125.00
  • Production of Limited Company accounts - from £600.00
  • Production of self-employed accounts - subject to quotation
  • Mortgage or loan reference - £25.00
  • Mortgage or loan reference including a set of accounts - £75.00
  • Personal reference - £25.00
  • Company Closure including final set of ‘cessation’ accounts - from £175.00 plus additional statutory filing costs
  • Company Transfer including a set of interim accounts - from £175.00 plus payment of the annual fee pro-rata
  • IR35 Contract Review - £150.00
  • Registered Office Address Service - £150.00 per year
  • Draft Limited Company contract - £150.00
  • UK, Personal & Corporate Tax Planning – subject to quotation
  • Inheritance and Estate Tax Planning – subject to quotation
  • Foreign, Personal & Corporate Tax Planning – subject to quotation
  • Representation at HMRC compliance visits – subject to quotation
  • Specialist VAT advice – subject to quotation
  • Any other specialist service – subject to quotation
